Rachel Pinkus
M.S., OTR/L
Rachel is a graduate of Indiana University, receiving her bachelor of science in human development and family studies, as well as receiving her masters degree in occupational therapy at Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
She found her passion for the disabilities community in high school after joining “Best Buddies”, a club focused on facilitating friendship and social bonds between peers in regular education and special education classrooms. Her experience with her peers in the club helped form her unwavering strengths-based lens of humans of all abilities and areas of need.
Rachel has a strong passion for supporting children’s development, and empowering families throughout the process. She places a foundational emphasis on promotion of life skills, participation, self-efficacy, and self-driven motivation. She operates from a belief that fostering clients’ intrinsic desire to grow, pursue goals, and tackle life’s daily challenges, is a key factor in promoting long-term success.
